INT BOOKS acts as a wholesale distributor and sales agent for publishers of print materials and e-books.
We do not publish is our own right. However we do prepare e-books for publication and sales.
We have a primary warehouse in Melbourne and a small distribution centre in New Zealand.
We handle all sales and general marketing for publishers, but we do not do mass market PR.
Our special interests are non-fiction and literacy materials. We tend to focus on pre-shool and primary school ages, but through our publishers, we have significant middle school and junior secondary non-fiction.
Our fiction range extends from pre-school board books to YA (Young Adult)
with emphasis on well editied materials and books suitable for reluctant readers across each age range.
We are not standard mass market distributors. Our customers are mainly school and library suppliers, specialist childrens book suppliers, educational toy stores, national park bookshops, literacy specialists, and trade shops with a specialist childrens book buyer.
However, all our books are detailed on TitlePage [the Australian Book Trade database], Nielsen Bookdata, and Global Books in Print, and we are registered suppliers to the major chains including Dymocks, the Red Group - Borders, Angus and Robertson, and Whitcoulls, and Independent booksellers through the Leading Edge Group.
